Render Weekly was started in 2018 by Ryan Krause and Tyler Anderson, two industrial designers finishing their undergraduate degrees in industrial design. Since then, Render Weekly has become the largest online community for industrial design rendering, and continues to grow with new designers participating every week.
Every week, our team creates a design prompt of our own original design, and invites other to show their own version of the prompt. The best submissions get featured and promoted via our Instagram feed, and soon our website. Unless otherwise indicated, the prompts are always for fun or for educational purposes, and we are very careful to avoid conflicts of interests in our own design practices. We are careful to accept collaborations with companies or businesses since the work rendered by the community is voluntary, and we do not support or condone design work that is done for free.
Render Weekly is an expression of our love for industrial design and the people who belong to its community. If that is you, we thank you and are excited to keep going.
How to Participate
To participate in Render Weekly, make a response to our weekly prompt, announced on Mondays via Instagram @renderweekly.
Post your design on your won account using the specified hashtag for that week, and if we think it's pretty cool, we'll feature it on our account!
